Junior Dave Teggart had just kicked a 52-yard field goal with 17 seconds left in the game to give UConn a nail-biting 19-16 win, a share of the Big East title and the program’s first trip to a BCS Bowl game.

Almost 400 undergrads took advantage of the network’s largesse and all was going well until midway through the third quarter, with the Owls leading 14-13, when the large screen suddenly went black…. and stayed that way for 45 minutes.
