CEAP (Connecticut Energy Assistance Program) – Appointments for seniors and disabled residents will be made Tuesdays and Wednesdays, at the Town Hall. Appointments are from 1-3 p.m. Call the Senior Center at 860-267-4426 to make your appointment and to get more information on what you’ll need to bring. Appointments will be made for those over 60 years of age and/or disabled.

And just a reminder that the East Hampton Senior Center’s temporary home at the Congregational Church at 59 Main St. is open 10 a.m.-.2 p.m. for seniors who need to get out of the cold and enjoy a cup of hot coffee and some good company.

POSSIBLE TRIP – depending on interest of seniors – Please sign up ASAP if you are interested. Herrmanns’ Royal Lipizzan Stallions in Salem CT on Friday, Aug. 12.

This journey along the rocky coastline of Cape Ann in Massachusetts features a delicious lobster bake at the Gloucester House Restaurant on the historic Seven Seas Wharf.

The performance is at the North Shore Theatre in Beverly, Massachusetts. It is a state-of-the-art theatre in the round where no seat is more than 50 feet from the stage.

Enter the Bake Off and share fine confections, beginning at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27. Barbara Moore from Chatham Caterers will do the judging. Winners will receive a prize.

The cookies were shipped to troops from this area who are serving overseas.

Are you a senior with a birthday in February? If so, you’re invited to the February Birthday Bash on Feb. 28 – free lunch, cake and a gift!

Chinese New Year Celebration! CRT Luncheon and East Hampton High School Choir, on Thursday, Feb. 3. Lunch served at noon, followed by a performance by the East Hampton High School Choir at 12:45 p.m.

The next tournament will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011.
