DeSarro said he chose the topic because it isn’t uncommon for people to marry out of their generation, sometimes for love, but more often for fame and advantage.

The YPCCA Junior camp runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, Feb. 15-19 at the Congregational Church of East Hampton on Main Street.

The committee also is need of more sponsors and donations to help cut the cost of the event.

“These are free activities especially timed to relieve parents during the long week when the kids are at home and the budget may be feeling somewhat pinched,” said Alan Levere of the DEP’s Division of State Parks.

The final two performances are on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. and a Sunday, Dec. 6 matinee at 3 p.m.

Bevin Bell Factory has donated 250 pairs of miniature bells for the parade, so children age 10 and younger who would like to join the parade can get their bells in the Community Room at the Library on a first come-first serve basis beginning at 3 p.m.

The Podium Players are celebrating their 50th year of presenting theatre arts to central Connecticut.

Square dancing is slated for 8 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 3 at Yeomans Hall, Columbia. $5 adults, children under 12 are free. Contact: 228-3004.
