In case you missed the exhibition in September, I-Park – Connecticut’s premier artists’ residency program, located in East Haddam – is offering another opportunity.
Join us this weekend, rain or shine, as we re-open our grounds to the general public.
Enjoy a self-directed trail walk, including a boat ride, to view the works created for I-Park’s 2013 Environmental Art Biennale (the fourth in a series).
It will be a month since the opening – the colors and sounds will have changed, as will the ephemeral installations themselves.
I-Park is an international creative community located on a bucolic 450-acre nature preserve in East Haddam, CT.
I-Park’s mission is to nurture artistic pursuits in the fields of the visual arts, music composition/sound sculpture, architecture, moving image, landscape/garden design and creative writing.
Please visit the website at www.i-park.org to register for your free tickets. Wear comfortable walking shoes and plan to arrive between 2 and 3:30 p.m.
A leisurely walk should take about an hour. No pets please.
