Maribeth Abrams – a nutritional consultant, author of cookbooks and articles focused on food, and holistic health practitioner – will host a fun and informative, game show-style presentation called Nutrition Mythbusters.
Abrams is known for her energetic and accessible way of presenting her knowledge.
Everyone is invited to this event at the Thursday, April 4 meeting of the Vegetarian Society of Eastern Connecticut at Jack Jackter Intermediate School cafeteria in Colchester.
You don’t have to be a vegetarian to attend.
The meeting begins promptly at 6:30 p.m., so please plan to arrive a little earlier and get ready to sharpen your knowledge about healthier ways to live – and win a prize!
If you can, please bring a meatless or vegan dish to share and serving utensils for your food. If you bring a dish, please also provide the recipe and a list of the ingredients. Please also bring a place setting for yourself (plate, utensils, napkin, cup) and whatever non-alcohol beverage you’d like.
Questions? Call Cheryl at 860-537-7297.
