Submitted Press Release
The Art Alcove and 66 Main Marketplace will host “April All Arts Night” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 5.
Local artists will show their works for the whole month of April.
Refreshments will be served.
April’s featured artist is Paul Hoffman of East Hampton, CT. After over 25 years as a graphic designer, he took lessons from one of New England’s most accomplished impressionist painters in September 1999 and Hoffman’s work began showing in Hartford County galleries in March of the following year.
In 2002, he began teaching “open air” painting for beginning and intermediate students in West Hartford.
For the past 10 years, Hoffman also taught Plein Air Painting to gifted middle school students and their teachers through the Connecticut Association of Schools.
Join us on April 5 and enjoy a wealth of local art.
Artists are charged $25 a month for a 5-foot space, with no commission taken.
