Ever want to be in a hit musical?

You may not be on Broadway, but you can feel like it for one evening when you join a cast member from the national “Chicago” Broadway tour at Fit-Trix this Friday, Oct. 26 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Fit-Trix is located at 84 East High St., in East Hampton, CT.

Shamicka Benn will lead the workshop in choreography from “Chicago.” The workshop is recommended for ages 10 to adult, with some previous dance training.

Currently in the “Chicago” Broadway tour, Benn holds a BFA in Theatre and Dance from the University of Tennessee.

In 2005, she was invited to attend the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and has since had the opportunity to perform and travel all over the U.S., Bangkok and Japan.

She is a passionate “Broadway Connection” teacher who loves sharing her knowledge and drive with students everywhere.
