There are still a few more days for you to donate your gently used treasures to East Hampton Boy Scout Troop 8 for this Saturday’s tag sale.

Toys, furniture, small (working) appliances, household items, etc. are welcome – what a great excuse to clean out the “junk” closet, the extra room that’s become an accidental storage room, the garage.

You can drop off items at the VFW Post 5095 at 20 North Maple St. (across from East Hampton High School) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct 5 and from 7 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6 – which is the day of the tag sale.

The tag sale runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the VFW.

It’s a great day for a deal, from Christmas decorations to books, clothing and household items – and a great way to help your local Boy Scout troop.  Refreshments will be provided.

Questions? Call the VFW after 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at 860-267-8837 or after noon on Saturday.
