In East Hampton – Still time to ‘flag’ a friend, neighbor, family member

The East Hampton Color Guard of the Ladies Auxiliary to Fowler-Dix-Park Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9095 announces that the annual “flagging” fundraiser is underway. It began June 29 and concludes Friday, July 20, 2012.

The East Hampton Color Guard of the Ladies Auxiliary to Fowler-Dix-Park Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9095 announces that the annual “flagging” fundraiser is underway. It began June 29 and concludes Friday, July 20, 2012.

Flags are placed on people’s lawns with a note attached that explains a friend paid to place the flags as part of a fundraiser.

They will be placed in the evening and picked up the following evening.

The cost is $20 and the proceeds will be distributed to C.H.A.M. P., Sandy Peszynski’s Breast Cancer Fund, The Ladies Auxiliary Color Guard, East Hampton Adopt A Senior Program and the newly formed East Hampton Proctor Of Animals.
