In East Hampton – sign up now for Friday Night Softball

East Hampton Little League softball clinics will be open to girls in grades 2 through 5 from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. and grades 6 through 8 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. beginning Friday, Feb. 3, 2012. Players must be registered for the upcoming Little League season to participate.

East Hampton Little League will sponsor free Friday Night softball clinics beginning Friday, February 3, 2012.

These clinics will run every Friday through the end of March at the Memorial School gym.

The clinics will focus on the fundamentals of hitting, fielding and pitching.

Clinics will be open to girls in grades 2 through 5 from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. and grades 6 through 8 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Players must be registered for the upcoming Little League season to participate.

This is a great opportunity to learn important softball skills, as well as have some fun with your friends.

There will be one drop-in registration – from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on  Saturday, Jan. 21.

Girls who were ages 7 to 12 as of Dec. 31, 2011 are eligible for Little League softball.

There are 2 main divisions for Little League softball:

  • Minors – Ages 7 to 9
  • Majors – Ages 10 to 12

If you are new to East Hampton Little League, please mail a copy of your child’s birth certificate after you complete the on-line registration process.

Little League registration fee is $50 per child, and $35 for each additional player within the same family.
