The 2010 Hebron Maple Fest – some highlights

UConn women post 95-39 first-round win in NCAA tournament

NORFOLK, VA - Tina Charles and UConn cruised to a first round win and a 73rd straight victory Sunday against Southern University.  Charles scored 22 points and Maya Moore added 21 to a final score of 95-39 in the women

Moore had 17 points and four 3-pointers by halftime, and the Huskies featured Charles scoring on the inside in a 21-2 spree to open the second half.

Donald Feltovic, 62, of 138 Flood Road, Marlborough, CT and Wendy Willis, 47, of 7 Cheney Lane, East Hartford, CT were involved in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of West High Street and Laurel Glen Drive.
