Where the housing market is headed is subject of next ‘Get Real’

Carl Guild of Prudential Connecticut Realty East Hampton and mortgage broker Lori Gemma Grodzki of CT Home Mortgage Middletown will discuss the state of home sales in Connecticut, in particular East Hampton ­- and how the recession is affecting home values.

Guild and Gemma-Grodzki offer guidance to prospective buyers and sellers and give their opinions on market trends.

The two guests also discuss government stimulus programs for first-time buyers and loan modification plans for at-risk borrowers trying to avoid foreclosure.

Of particular concern are the coming changes to FHA qualifications for condominium owners.

The changes in bank mortgage options available to borrowers are also discussed, as well as the shifting lending criteria set forth by lenders.

The Get Real show airs each Monday evening on at 7pm on cable channel 15.
