The next free H1N1 clinic for residents served by the Chatham Health District (East Hampton, East Haddam, Haddam, Hebron, Marlborough and Portland) will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010. The clinic will be held at East Haddam High School, 15 School Drive in Moodus.

The injectable form, however, will be limited to those individuals 6 to 24 months old, individuals with underlying health issues disqualifying them for the mist, and anyone 50 years of age and older.

Scouts to help children of deployed soldiers

The packs the Scouts will assemble will be given to children of the 700 Connecticut soldiers deployed in November to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Since its inception in 1979, the women’s soccer team has posted a 500-154-45 slate good for a 64.7 winning percentage, with coach Len Tsantiris guiding the club to 474 of those wins.
