One-of-a-kind Stone Leaf Art at Farmers & Artisans Market

by: HTNP Staff August 6, 2009
Local artisan Nannette Woodcock hand fashions her stone leaf art from a mixture of cement, sand and peat moss. The intricate designs are rendered from an actual rhubarb, hosta or skunk cabbage leaf. They can be used outdoors as garden ornaments, bird baths or feeders, and indoors as platters, fruit bowls or decorations. Courtesy photo.

The Middle Haddam Library is sponsoring the Artisans and Farmers Market as part of its year-long Centennial Celebration.
