East Hampton Police Log for May 22, 2009: Better wear that seatbelt

Even a seatbelt for your dog is a good idea - and driving with your dog in your lap is a bad idea. Stop, and the dog gets crushed between you and the steering wheel.

This week’s police log includes a number of arrests for failure to wear a seatbelt. The crackdown on this offense is known as “Click it or Ticket.”
